Check-In Monitoring

The Check-In monitoring feature is at the core of the SafetyLine automated solution; for meeting regulation compliance, but also simply for providing the best safety monitoring protocols possible for your staff.

Instead of waiting for one of your Staff to be hurt or injured, and conscious and able to press a button to send a panic signal, SafetyLine is instead Pro-Active to have staff report when then aren’t in trouble. Staff are each setup with an account on SafetyLine.

When working alone or in isolation, staff must regularly report in that they are OK. This is done with whatever supported Device(s) they may carry. After each Check-In report, the staff with then continue about his or her tasks, knowing that they must Check-In again after a certain time. Report interval times are defined by the risks associated with the role of the staff, or the particular job at hand; but most importantly are totally flexible to allow for the on-the-fly schedule changes that happen in real world situations. No pre-defined schedules are required.

It’s important to note that if a check-in system isn’t simple to use, then it’s difficult to get people to use it! SafetyLine knows this, and depending on device options, checking in can be as simple as pressing one button. But we all know that people make mistakes, and there is a good chance staff might forget to check-in before their time. No problem! SafetyLine will give staff reminders when reports are due: by SMS/Text, email, App, and even with a real phone call.

The Check-In process is a simple and important part of a Lone Worker’s day. Having the automated solution makes this all happen painlessly for you, without any regular involvement or active monitoring in regular daily situations. But when about when something does happen? If a worker is in distress and misses a check-in and reminders, a notification process will happen to ensure that proper steps are taken.

Please see the section on Emergency Notification section for further details.
