As the holiday season approaches, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible journey we've shared with you over the past 23 years. Your support, loyalty, and partnership have been the driving force behind our success. This year, just like every year, we are filled with gratitude, and we are excited to continue a tradition that holds a special place in our hearts.
Nominate your favorite nonprofit
At Tsunami Solutions and SafetyLine Lone Worker, we believe in the power of giving back. Our commitment to supporting local organizations and helping them achieve their charitable goals has been a cornerstone of our corporate values. Over the years, we've had the privilege of witnessing the positive impact that charitable organizations make in our communities.
In the spirit of the holidays, we invite all our readers, partners, customers, and visitors to participate in our annual "Nominate Your Favorite Nonprofit" campaign. This year, we have set aside $5,000 to be distributed among four different nonprofits, each receiving a donation of $1,250.
A tradition of giving
Reflecting on the success of our 2022/2023 Season of Giving Donation campaign, it’s hard not to feel overwhelming gratitude for the outpouring of love and support we received. From last year’s nominations, we made donations to:
Canadian Mental Health Association - Sudbury/Manitoulin
Compassion House Foundation
BC Association of Pregnancy Outreach Programs
The Bridge Youth & Family Services Canada
Additionally, in 2022, SafetyLine donated $5,000 to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, which was chosen in our December 2021 "Nominate your favorite charity" campaign. And in 2019/2020, the Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon was selected by your nominations.

How to nominate
Fill out form and nominate your favorite nonprofit: In the form below, nominate a nonprofit or charity and explain to us about why it holds a special place in your heart. Share their mission, impact, and why you believe they deserve this donation.
Spread the word: Encourage others in your network to participate. The more nominations we receive, the greater the chance of supporting organizations that are making a difference in diverse ways.
Important dates
Nomination period: The nomination period begins on Wednesday, November 29th 2023 and runs until January 11, 2024, 11:59pm PST. Take your time to share the stories of the organizations that inspire you.
Donation announcement: We will randomly select four nonprofits from the nominations received. The chosen organizations will be announced on January 18, 2024.

If you work for a nonprofit organization or charity, don't hesitate to nominate your own organization. We appreciate the incredible work you do and want to support your efforts in making the world a better place.
