Twitter is the most active social media channel next to Facebook and Linkedin.  The platform is a buzzing social media channel of useful information that is easily accessible and allows users to share blog articles, news and product updates, and more.  Twitter has more than 321 million worldwide users and 7.6 million users in Canada, depending on how many people you follow on your twitter feed, it may get overwhelming with hundreds of tweets being posted each minute. Therefore, we created is a list (in no particular order) of some of the most influential Canadian health and safety twitter feeds to follow in 2019:

Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety

Established in 1978, the Canadian Centre for Occupation Health and Safety is Canada’s official national resource for the advancement of workplace health and safety by providing information, training, education, management systems and more.

The Canadian Occupational Safety magazine is a publication magazine by Thomson Reuters that focuses on occupational health and safety in Canada.  They cover a range of topics from office to heavy industry, general safety management to workplace hazards.

WorkSafeBC is a provincial agency of British Columbia dedicated to promoting safe and a healthy workplace across the province. Their twitter feed contains a large number of useful posts to help promote safety to 2.33 million workers and over 230,000 registered employers of British Columbians.
