In-app Feedback and More: SafetyLine Upgrades Menu Options

Lone worker protection pioneer SafetyLine has added some new features to its comprehensive lone worker safety system and app. The SafetyLine app menu now includes several additional options to help protect you and your team members better.

Quick and easy in-app feedback

At SafetyLine, we really value the feedback and suggestions from our customers and those who use SafetyLine during work. This is why we added an in-app Feedback link to the app menu so that constructive comments and critiques can be easily provided so that SafetyLine can continue to improve and evolve. It is important to note that all feedback is completely anonymous and submitters should not have to worry about negative consequences from the feedback.

A workplace with a healthy safety culture is a place where professional feedback and concerns should be welcomed and taken seriously. Those employees working alone can see safety hazards that others can’t, providing a unique perspective that must be leveraged for the greater safety of everyone. Many organizations are making safety culture a priority including the Canada Energy Regulator which provides impressive resources to make sure your organization is somewhere workers can voice safety concerns comfortably.

The feedback link has been added because, quite simply, we value your insight and believe that we can use that insight to make SafetyLine even better. We view our customers and the lone workers who use our product, as an extension of the SafetyLine family who we also care about. We of course want to produce a better product, but more importantly, we want to protect our customers more effectively so that they can return home at the end of the workday.

Direct access to the SafetyLine Help Center

In response to our customers’ need to access our Help Center faster, we have added a link to the useful resource near the top of the SafetyLine app menu. The SafetyLine Help Center provides access to several valuable safety assets including:

  • Troubleshooting (Ie. software updates)

  • Getting Started (Ie. start guides for workers, monitors, and administrators)

  • Resolving Emergencies (Ie. emergency response protocol)

  • Comprehensive (Ie configuring Garmin devices with SafetyLine)

  • Customer Care (Ie .managing licensing information)

  • SafetyLine University (training courses)

  • Community (Ie. tips, common issues)

The SafetyLine Help Center is a practical one-stop shop for all things SafetyLine and lone worker safety. If you’re experiencing an issue while at work, the Help Center will help provide most of the answers you’re looking for. In addition to the peace of mind that their safety is being monitored, providing resources like the Help Center can benefit the lone worker more so because they are empowered with these tools to problem solve on their own.

The overall goal of our Help Center is to create an easier, stress-free experience for the SafetyLine user, providing them with a resource that will answer many of their questions and solve many of their issues. It is a very useful resource, particularly in pressing work situations where you need an answer fast.

When a lone worker feels safe at work, they tend to be happier and more productive, producing higher-quality work. In their 2021 study, Workplace Interventions in Response to COVID-19: an Occupational Health Psychology Perspective, researchers established that “a healthy and safe workplace not only reduces injuries and diseases for workers but also benefits worker productivity and work motivations.

Knowledge is power: Access the SafetyLine Blog

The SafetyLine blog is regularly updated with new information and articles that can help you address your OHS and lone worker safety challenges. The SafetyLine blog covers the full range of material that customers need such as safety legislation, technology, OHS trends, product updates like this one, as well as content that will empower employers to improve the safety of their people.

Safety education creates significant benefits for the occupational health and safety of a workplace, particularly amongst younger workers as they found in a 2021 Turkish study. We see this blog as a tool to help educate its readers and subscribers about greater OHS issues as well as how they can continue to improve their work safety.

Share the care for SafetyLine

Last, but definitely not least, we have added an easy-to-use Share button that will help you send the app download and website link to co-worker or colleagues who you think could benefit from the safety tool at their job.

When onboarding a new co-worker or colleague, this button will allow the employer to quickly begin monitoring the safety of the new person, an efficient way for them to download the app and get started.

The great thing about SafetyLine is that it can protect people and lone workers in every industry. SafetyLine was designed to be flexible and adaptive so lone workers, in all areas, can benefit from its range of effective, proven safety features and tools. Sharing SafetyLine not only shows that you care, but it will at least raise awareness about lone and remote worker safety issues and occupational hazards.
