New SafetyLine App for iOS Released!
At SafetyLine, we believe that safety should never be a barrier to workflow. It should be an integral part of any organization - streamlined and effortless. Now, managing your safety while on the job has become even easier with the rollout of our new iOS app for iPhone, and wi-fi//LTE enabled iPod and iPad.Read more for a run down of the new changes we have made to make your check-ins more simplified and streamlined.
The user experience is improved by enlarging commonly used controls, and placing them in more conveniently locations
Controls not commonly used have been removed from the home screen, making the experience cleaner and more streamlined
Find settings and other control in the menu bar at the top left.
The app will now display icons on the bottom of the screen when certain functionality is turned on, such as Shake-To-Panic, Man Down Fall Detection, and GPS Breadcrumbing
Please note, due to changes in iOS terms of service, certain features in our app will now require your permission. These features were available in previous versions of the iOS app, and with the new app will still function the same way.
The app asks for permission to send you notifications
The app asks to use your location even when the app is not being used (this is needed for GPS breadcrumbs to work)
In order to enable these functions, simply accept on the prompt.We hope you enjoy these new functionalities in our new iOS app!
